Upward of 140 runners and walkers took part recently in the 36th annual Race Judicata organized by the Oakland County Bar Association at Covington Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. Among those who helped organize the event were (left to right) Wayne Kauffman; Tim Martin, chairman of the race committee; Diana Moak; Jim O’Brien, vice chair of the race committee; and David Carl Anderson, president of the OCBA. Molly Riordan took top honors in the women’s 5-kilometer race with a time of 24:08, while Louis Szura from Vezina Law won the men’s 5-km title with a 19:52 clocking. In the 10-km race, Erica Shell was the women’s winner, crossing in 43:43. Greg Bosio won the men’s 10-km in 42:43. The Jaffe Law White Team won the 5-km team title while the Bodman White Team captured the 10-km team event.
