Complex litigation focus of FBA doubleheader
The Federal Bar Association (FBA), Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, will present its "Complex Litigation Seminar Doubleheader 2012" on Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Room 115 of the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit.
The program will begin with "Creating an Efficient Presentation at Trial in Complex Litigation" featuring a panel with U.S. District Judges David M. Lawson, Victoria A. Roberts, and Mark A. Goldsmith.
The next half of the program will look at "Best Practices for Pretrial Proceedings in a Complex Case" featuring a panel with U.S. Magistrate Judges R. Steven Whalen, Laurie J. Michelson, and David R. Grand.
A reception with panelists immediately follows. Conference co-chairs and moderators are Jeffrey A. Sadowski of Howard & Howard, A. Michael Palizzi of Miller Canfield, and Mark Aiello of Foley & Lardner.
Cost is $20 for FBA members and $25 for non-members. Scholarships available to law students and others in special circumstances.
