OBITUARY
Edward Avadenka
Retired judge Edward Avadenka, 81, former Oakland County 48th District Court judge, died Monday, Aug. 5. The funeral will be held at Ira Kaufman Chapel, 18325 W. Nine Mile Road, in Southfield today at 11 a.m . Rabbi Jonathan Berger will officiate. Interment will be at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
Avadenka was an active, committed and loyal member of the Oakland County Bar Association since 1977.
He is survived by wife Beverly Avadenka; children Lynne (Marc Sussman) Avadenka, Beth Avadenka, Eve (Hardy Segall) Avadenka and Liping (Zhengyu) Cai; and grandchildren Max and Eli Sussman, Drew Siebarth, Mitchell, Nathan and Roxanne Segall and Edward Cai.
