Sitting and retired judges from local, state and federal courts gathered for a networking reception to share their wit, wisdom and advice with eager Wayne State University Law School students Tuesday, Nov. 14. The judges in attendance, many of them Wayne Law alumni, were from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan; U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan; Michigan Supreme Court; Michigan Court of Appeals; Macomb and Wayne County Circuit Courts; and the 36th and 46th District Courts. The event was sponsored by Wayne Law’s Career Services Office. Speaking at the event were Wayne Law Dean Richard A. Bierschbach and Diane Fears, Wayne Law class of 1989, director of Career Services.
