The State Appellate Defender Office and the Criminal Defense Resource Center along with West Michigan Regional Investigators Association will present the webinar “Keeping Safe in the Field” on Thursday, March 7, from noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.
At this training, attendees will learn about:
• Getting home safely.
• Using past cases to help.
• Tools to make your field work more efficient.
• Procedures to ensure safety in the filed by your coworkers.
• Useful apps.
Speaking at the webinar will be Jonathan Lyon, the investigator resource coordinator for the National Association for Public Defense (NAPD). Lyon began investigating working at a PI firm and then 12 years at SADO of IL. He focused on P.C. death penalty cases. He has trained all over the U.S. for local PD offices, law schools, and national conferences such as NAPD, NALI, NACDL NDIA, and Intellenet. He is the creator/webmaster for the internationally utilized website www.internetsleuth.net.
