The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan’s Juvenile Justice &?School Safety Training Project will present a webinar on “OK2SAY—Michigan’s Student Safety Program’ online Tuesday, March 11, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
This presentation looks into OK2SAY, the student safety program that allows individuals to confidentially report tips on potential harm or criminal activities directed at students, school employees, and schools. The presentation will discuss what the program is, how it works, trends in reporting, and best practices.
Presenters will include Mary Drew, department specialist, Office of School Safety, Michigan State Police; and D/LT. Scott Layman, Michigan Intelligence Operation Center, Michigan State Police.
