The Juvenile Law Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association will continue its 2019 Fundamentals of Juvenile Law brown bag lunch lecture series with “Drug Screen Results: What Do They Mean?” on Thursday, August 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the OCBA offices, 1760 South Telegraph Road, Suite 100, in Bloomfield Hills.
A client may be required by the court to take a drug test and attorneys need to know what the process is and what the results mean. Topics of discussion will include:
• An overview of the process in Oakland County.
• Tests conducted by the Oakland County labs.
• Other available testing procedures.
Presenters will include Bridget Lorenz Lemberg, lab director at Forensic Fluids Laboratories, and Jennifer Williams, forensic toxicology chemist at the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, Investigative and Forensic Services Division
This seminar is worth 1.5 training hours for attorneys on the juvenile and criminal appointment lists.
Cost for OCBA members is $12 for pre-registration and $25 for on site registration. Non-members pay $25 for pre-registration and $40 for on site registration.
