Dear Editor:
TAX INCREASE could be in the Village future if the proposed “Railroad Quiet Zone” is implemented. This could be an extremely expensive venture. Besides cost and driving inconvenience, I’m concerned that barricades, one-way driving would cause slower response for emergency services (fire & rescue). Also, there will be extra costs to continually repair these barricades not to mention snow removal problems & damage to plows, etc.
I suggest for sleeping problems, use a box fan “white noise.” It has worked for all my kids & grandkids. It is a lot cheaper!
Planning to circulate a petition against this!!
