The Oakland County Bar Association will present “Competency, Criminal Responsibility and the Juvenile Client” as an online Zoom program on Thursday, August 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Nichole Smithson, of NL Smithson & Associates PLLC, will lead an analysis of the competency evaluation process, including an overview of evaluation requests, how they are handled by the court, and defense strategies. Credit has been approved with the Oakland County Bar Association for 1.50 Juvenile credits.
Cost for OCBA members is $12 pre-registration or $25 on site registration. Non-members pay $25 pre-registration or $40 on site registration.
