  • Bloomfield Township Fire Department Charities presents ‘Fill The Boot’ proceeds to Muscular Dystrophy Association

    On December 11, the Bloomfield Township Fire Department (BTFD) Charities presented a check to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) from the annual “Fill The Boot” fundraiser. Stacey Breitlow, Account Manager Fire Fighter Partnerships for MDA, was present to accept on behalf of the organization.

  • Measles case confirmed in Oakland County

    December 17, 2025

    Oakland County Health Division confirmed a pediatric measles case, marking the second case this year. Individuals may have been exposed to measles at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce Township on Dec. 7 in the Emergency Department between 7:20 p.m. and 11:10 p.m.

  • States sue administration again over billions in withheld electric vehicle charging funds

    Sixteen states and the District of Columbia are suing President Donald Trump's administration for what they say is the unlawful withholding of over $2 billion dollars in funding for two electric vehicle charging programs, according to a federal lawsuit announced Tuesday.
